About

Everything ends in Ted.

It’s on the door. It’s on the products. It’s on the hook when something goes wrong.

I’m Ted Gee. Promoted Goods is me.

I answer the phone. I draw the file. I set the machine. I check the piece before it goes in the box. When you call, you are not being routed toward the person who made your order. You are already talking to him.

That isn’t a startup phase I’m going to grow out of. It’s the design.

The name

Coated. Plated. Printed. Slated. Frosted. Mounted. Gifted.

Everything I make lands on the same three letters.

PROMOTEDGOODS

My name is in the middle of it. Not stuck on the back afterwards — in it.

So every piece that leaves here carries the name, and the name is mine. A maker who won’t sign the work is telling you something.

What one person actually buys you

No minimum that exists to feed a sales team.Five hundred pieces is a real order. So is one.

No handoff. The person who took your call is the person at the machine. Nothing gets lost in the middle, because there is no middle.

No “that’s how the file came in.”If it’s wrong, it’s mine. I’ll tell you it’s mine, and then I’ll fix it.

A straight answer beats a sale

If you need ten thousand pens by Friday at the lowest price on the internet, there are companies built for that and I am not one of them. I’ll tell you so — and if I know who is, I’ll point you at them.

What I’m built for is the thing somebody keeps. One piece or five hundred, made properly, by the person you called.
